Scooter rental: the answers.
Can I ride a 125 scooter with a car licence?
Yes: in Italy a category B licence also covers scooters up to 125 cc (and 11 kW). For the 50 cc scooter an AM or B licence is enough. Note that this applies on Italian roads only.
Is a helmet included?
Yes, every scooter comes with one helmet included in the rental. If there are two of you, let us know when you book.
Can I rent a scooter for just one day?
Yes: by the day, for a weekend or by the week.
Do I need a credit card?
No: pay by cash, debit card, prepaid card or in instalments with Klarna, and leave a €200 deposit in cash or by debit card, refunded on return. How it works.
How much is the scooter deposit?
€200, in cash or by debit card. It is refunded in full on return if the scooter is in order.
Can more than one person ride it?
Yes, up to 3 riders at no extra cost, to be named at booking or pick-up with each rider's licence and ID.
